Become one of Oscar’s Nature Detectives

This fun program gets the kids out in the wild learning to find all sorts of nature that they may have not noticed before. ND2 The kids are taught how to look for signs of wild life, to identify plants and trees, and where to look for various birds. If they are lucky they will get to see some of the many birds and animals that make their home in the park.

Plaster casts are made of animal tracks found around the lake. The casts are painted by the detectives and kept as a souvenir of the park.

		The program is given on Saturdays. Check our calendar page for exact time. A donation of $2.00 per participant is requested to help cover materials.
