Recycling and Fun - December 5, 2009 Individuals, family groups as well as organizations are welcome to rent tables in order to sell their recyclable goods. Entrance to the park is free for shoppers. Picnic tables are for rent for $25.00, add $10.00 if electricity is needed.

Monday, Wednesday (December) 8:30 AM Monday, Wednesday, Friday (January – March) 8:30 AM Aerobics : Join us for a workout guaranteed to get your blood flowing! Open to all ages. Free
Wednesday 9:00 AM Guided Canoe Ride. Join a ranger for a guided canoe ride on South Creek. Rent your canoe and draw the equipment at the Ranger Station by 8:30 and meet at the canoe launch at the South Creek Picnic Area. No prior experience necessary. Open to the first 24 people.
Wednesday 6:30 PM (January - March) Old Tyme Music and Ice Cream sundaes. Join Betty and Carl Ross for an evening of toe tapping music while enjoying an ice cream sundae for desert. You are guaranteed to leave with a smile and feeling good about the world.
Thursday 8:00 -10:00 AM (December – March) Pancake Breakfast: Blueberry pancakes, sausage, coffee, tea, and juice. Made to order. All this for $4.00! Children under twelve are $2.00, under six are free. You won’t leave hungry!
Thursday 8:00 -10:00 AM (January – March) Guided Bird Walk. Join our experts. Free. Usually more than twenty species identified. Bring your binoculars. Finish in time for pancakes.
Old Tyme Music Jam 2:00 PM (January - March) Betty and Carl Ross lead the fun.
Friday 8:30 AM (December – March) Guided Ranger Hike. Join one of our rangers as they lead you on an hour’s hike and explain the sights and sounds of the park. Free.
Saturday 8:00 -10:00 AM Camper Coffee: Coffee, juice, donuts provided free. Brochures about local events and activities. Volunteers to answer your questions about hiking trails, other activities in the park, and things to do in the area during your stay at Oscar Scherer.
Saturday 9:00 AM Oscar's Nature Detective Program Kids take a guided walk in the park and discover some of the secrets of nature. An informative programs that teaches while entertaining. This is a great outdoor experience. Donation of $2.00 per child is requested. Ages 8 and up.
Saturday 11:00 AM Elsa’s Fish Printing. Great family fun, learn our park history and the art of GYOTAKU. Create a unique souvenir of your visit. Donation of $2.00 per item is requested.
Sunday 8:30 AM Scrub Walk. Spend your Sunday Mornings with the Scrub Jays- a Unique Central Florida Experience Includes a Nature Walk with a zoologist and/or botanist Free.
9:30 AM (January – March) Church Service. This is a nondenominational service. All are welcome.
