Fifth Annual All Trails Hike January 21, 2012Oscar Scherer State Park is a Scherer Delight to hike.
The moon was still out when some of the hikers started.
It’s a walk in the park.
Families, friends and individuals hiked the trails.
Members of the Friends of Oscar Scherer Park set up a telescope for hikers to get a look at the family of Bald Eagles that are nesting in the Park.
After the hikers completed the walk, they joined members of the Friends at the Nature Center for lunch and ice cream sundaes.
This has become the most popular hiking opportunity in our area. Cost for everything, to include entry to the park, is only $10. Plan on joining us next year!
