Registration got under way as the sun was coming up.
It’s a walk in the park.
Families, friends and individuals hiked the trails.
Members of the Friends of Oscar Scherer Park were stationed along the way to offer water and snacks to the hikers. Refreshments provided by the sponsors listed at the bottom of the page.
After the hikers completed the walk, they joined members of the Friends at the Nature Center for lunch and ice cream sundaes.
This has become the most popular hiking opportunity in our area. Don't miss it next year. . Cost for everything, to include entry to the park, is only $10. Let's enjoy nature together along the trails.
